"Twelve Years With a Wolfdog"
by Nicholas Powell
Our Book
I don't know if you can share author credits with a wolfdog, but Cody had as much to do with creating this book as I did. I guess you could call Cody my 'muse'.

Twelve Years With a Wolfdog  was written over a period of two years in whatever free time I could grab while running on the UPS hamster wheel. Sorry if I sound cynical, but my opinion of Corporate America is at an all-time low at the moment.

It's the story of a man and and his dog - but more importantly, it is the story of Cody, the Ambassa-Dog - the most unique animal I've ever met.

All the events and all the people are real, although some names have been changed.  It's an adventure book; it's a romance book, (peppered with comedic errors).  It's a hit-the-road travelogue (where, after much internal debate,  I reveal many of my favorite haunts and secret campsites),  and for mystery fans there's even a who-dunnit suspense story toward the end... or maybe better put... did-he-do-it?  There's a bit of everything in our book, including a kitchen sink that doesn't work very well.

Here are a few excerpts...

Cody and the Bumper -  published as a short story in the North Florida Lupine Newsletter

Travels With Cody -   one of many tales from the road.
